Shri Kshetra is located on the banks of Sharavati River, Sigandur temple draws devotees from all over the state. Sigandur can be reached from Mangalore but majority of devotees arrive from Sagara/Shivamogga, using a launcher to cross Sharavati backwaters. Timings to enter into the Temple:

Doors of the temple will be opened everyday at early morning 5:00 AM to 7:30 AM,devotees will be allowed to do abhishekam to the goddess.after that temple doors opened from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM for the normal Dharsana and 3:00PM to 7:00 PM people will allowed into the temple for regular dharsanam.



The village is surrounded on three sides by the backwaters of linganamakki dam,formed by the Saraswati river.barge is the major transport to reach the temple.Barges transport vehicles on dam water to reach sigandur. you can take your own vehicles to the temple by barges through the dam.




How to reach the Sigandur Temple?

Getting to Sigandur Temple, you need to travel across the river Sharavathi, by a launch that is a regular service.Once crossed, there are jeeps available.Bus and train routes are available to Sagar from Bangalore, Hubli and major cities of Karnataka. From Sagar to Sigandur 40 km distance,barges are available in water.

 ADIYOGI STATUE, COIMBATORE:

Adiyogi Statue is located in the city of Coimbatore,Tamil Nadu. The statue is a 34 meter tall, 45 meter long and 25 meter wide steel statue of the Hindu God Shiva. The statue is recognized by the Guinness book of world records as the Largest Bust Sculpture in the world. The statue is located at the Isha yoga center, in the city of Coimbatore.the sculpture stands tall at the height of 112 feet.

The statue has a 3D laser show that tells the story of the history of Shiva and how the science of yoga was given to human beings. The show is available to visitors every day from 9 a.m. to 8 P.m. The show is free to visit.
