Bandipur national park is one of the famous tourist place in south India region in the segment of forest safari,wild animals,birds,lot of endangered animal species.It is established  in the year 1974 as a tiger reserve under project tiger,it is located in gundlupet taluk of chamarajanagar district in karnataka state.actually the park is hunting place for the kings of mysore kingdom. In the park the river kabini flows in the north thats why it is also called kabini park and the river moyar flows on south side of park and nugu river passes middle of the park, that is the reason behind the park grown large and big,and developed the life in the park.the atmosphere of park is rainy and wet.In the park there is a hindu temple is constructed called the Gopalaswamy betta,it is the highest hill in the park.
